Footprints was conceptualized as an idea by our Founder, Sean Zaboroski when he stumbled upon the online obituary that was posted for his father by the Funeral Home. Sean’s father had passed away in 2012 but the Funeral Home did not notify Sean’s family that there was a digital posting of his father’s obituary – this collection of condolences and memories were not discovered by Sean’s family until 2018. Receiving and being able to respond to the writers of these comments would have given Sean’s family comfort at that difficult time.
Sean assembles the Footprints Team and together they design and develop a superior obituary platform that utilizes the power of digital and includes the following important features:
Footprints Team conducts Focus Groups, Surveys, User Feedback, etc. all with a view to creating a superior product and disrupt the obituary industry.
Development of Footprints in both Desktop and Mobile App platforms was completed and launched in June, 2020.
